Price ladder

Quantity bandIndicative position

2,000 – 10,000 pairsStandard tier — the tier most retail and e-commerce buyers order in
10,000 – 50,000 pairsVolume tier — yarn allocated against your programme for consistent dye lots
50,000+ pairsProgramme tier — dedicated production slots and a locked price window

What moves the price

  • Yarn content — merino, GOTS organic cotton and GRS recycled yarn cost more than standard combed cotton
  • Machine gauge — 200N fine-gauge dress socks run slower than 144N basics
  • Terry cushioning — full terry footbeds use more yarn and more machine time
  • Gauge of the pattern — complex jacquards with many colour changes cost more than solids
  • Packaging — a printed gift box is a real cost line, not free
  • Order size — the single biggest lever you control

How to get a sharper number

Send a target FOB price with your enquiry. If it is achievable we will show you exactly which construction option it requires — and if it is not, we will tell you that plainly and explain what the nearest achievable number is.

Why buy socks wholesale from us

You can see the ladder before you order

The four tiers and the break points are published. Ask for a quote at two quantities and you can calculate your own margin either way.

Family widths, not just one style

Most wholesale buyers order across several families — everyday cotton for volume, dress for margin, sports for seasonality. One order, one shipment.

Consistent dye lots on repeat

Volume tiers get yarn allocated to the programme, which is what stops colour drifting between batch four and batch nine.

Landed cost, not just FOB

We quote CIF and DDP as well as FOB so you can compare properly. Around 60% of our wholesale programmes ship FOB; Gulf buyers often take DDP.

Wholesale terms — common questions

What is your MOQ?

500 pairs per design & colourway for knitted styles and 1,000 pairs for sublimation-printed styles. Mixed sizes count towards the same design. Volume basics such as a combed cotton everyday crew sit at 3,000 pairs per colour because the price point needs a longer run.

Can you handle a small trial order?

Yes. From 500 pairs per design is designed for first orders and test runs. A typical first order is three to five designs at 500–1,000 pairs each, consolidated into one shipment. Once the style is proven, repeats move into the volume pricing tiers.

Can I mix several styles in one order?

Yes — the MOQ applies per design, not per order. Colourways, sizes and styles are consolidated into one consignment, and each design keeps its own colourway count.

Which trade terms can you work on?

FOB Ningbo / Shanghai · CIF · DDP to your warehouse. Our documentation team prepares CO, Form E and market-specific certificates. Around 60% of our programs ship FOB; Gulf buyers often take DDP.

What payment terms do you accept?

30% T/T deposit, balance against B/L copy · L/C at sight above USD 30,000. First orders from new markets may need a higher deposit — we stay flexible for verified buyers and repeat programs.

What is the bulk production lead time?

18–28 days from deposit and sample approval. Compression and heavy terry constructions sit at the longer end. You receive a photo and video progress report every week while your order runs.
