Wholesale & Private Label Socks for Amazon Sellers
Socks built for the Amazon flywheel: a low-MOQ test SKU, sell-through evidence, then a private label reorder — with FBA-ready packing and barcode work handled for you.
The problems this channel actually has
Be blunt about which of these you recognise — it tells us more about your requirement than a specification does.
The first SKU is the expensive one
Marketplace fees, photography and advertising all land before you have any sell-through data. Spending big on inventory before you know the product sells is the single most common way to lose money on Amazon.
FBA is unforgiving about packing
A polybag without a suffocation warning, an FNSKU on the wrong side, cartons that miss the shipment plan — each one turns into a chargeback that eats the margin on the whole order.
Sock sizing generates returns
A size grade that does not match the size chart on your listing produces returns, and returns on Amazon cost more than the margin.
Reorders have to be fast
A style that sells out in six weeks and takes ten weeks to restock loses its ranking. Reorder speed matters more than the second order discount.

How it runs, step by step
A typical first engagement for this channel — the shape is the same for a 500-pair trial and a programme order.
Pick a test product
One style, one colourway, 500 pairs. Chosen for margin potential rather than for price.
Get the sample right
Physical sample in 7–10 days. Approve the size grade explicitly — it is the returns lever.
Set up the listing assets
We supply weight, dimensions, material composition, care instructions and country of origin for the listing.
Pack to FBA spec
Poly-bagged, suffocation warning, FNSKU per unit, ASIN-grouped cartons.
Read the sell-through
If it sells, the specification is already locked — the reorder is a document, not a conversation.
Scale into private label
Your brand on the product and the packaging, at the volume tier your data now justifies.
Products that suit this channel

Sports & athletic
Strong margin category with clear differentiation and repeat purchase.

Casual multi-packs
3-pair and 5-pair packs — the highest average order value format.

Men’s underwear
An adjacent category for sellers already running a basics storefront.
What we will not do
Quote a price we cannot hold
If the target price you have set requires a yarn or a construction that will not deliver the quality your market expects, we will say so and propose the nearest achievable version — rather than quoting low and substituting later.
Pretend a warehouse is a factory
SOXMILL is a sourcing company, not a mill owner. We run the specification, the QC chain and the documentation, and we are upfront about that. What we do not do is imply we own machinery we do not.
Take an order we cannot make the date on
If your deadline is not achievable we would rather lose the order than accept it and fail it. Dates are quoted as ranges with buffer built in.
Sell your custom design to anyone else
Your artwork, patterns and specifications are used only to produce your order. We do not offer custom developments to other buyers.
Amazon Sellers — common questions
Do you support Amazon FBA preparation?
Yes. Barcodes (FNSKU/UPC), poly-bagging, suffocation warnings, carton labels, ASIN-level packing and shipment plans. Plenty of our buyers run entirely on FBA — tell us your marketplace and we pack to its requirements.
Can you handle a small trial order?
Yes. From 500 pairs per design is designed for first orders and test runs. A typical first order is three to five designs at 500–1,000 pairs each, consolidated into one shipment. Once the style is proven, repeats move into the volume pricing tiers.
Will the size grade match my listing size chart?
Tell us the size chart on your listing and we will grade the pattern to it, then confirm the measurements on the sample. Returns caused by a mismatched size grade are the most expensive form of quality problem on a marketplace — it is worth one extra sample round to get it right.
Can you handle packaging, labels and barcodes?
Yes. Printed belly bands, hangtags, header cards, hook boxes, gift boxes and multi-language inserts, plus GS1 barcode and SKU management for retail and Amazon. Packaging is quoted as a separate line so you can see exactly what it costs.
How fast are samples and what do they cost?
Pre-production samples ship 7–10 days after tech-pack approval, by express, with a spec sheet. The sample fee is quoted per style and refunded in full once the bulk order is placed. Revisions are free until you approve the sample.
What is the bulk production lead time?
18–28 days from deposit and sample approval. Compression and heavy terry constructions sit at the longer end. You receive a photo and video progress report every week while your order runs.
