Private Label Socks & Underwear for Clothing Brands
Accessory-line socks and underwear that match your mainline quality, your packaging language and your customer — without you having to build a second supply chain.
The problems this channel actually has
Be blunt about which of these you recognise — it tells us more about your requirement than a specification does.
The accessory line has to feel like the mainline
A sock that looks cheaper than the garment it sits beside damages the whole brand perception — and it is the cheapest thing on the shelf.
Development resource is the bottleneck
You have a design team, but they are busy with the mainline. Socks need a specialist pattern room.
Packaging language has to be consistent
Labels, hangtags, care symbols and pack formats that match the rest of the range, not whatever a sock supplier happens to offer.
The season will not wait
Your accessory delivery has to land with the mainline, not a month after it. The retail calendar is set by the garment, not by the sock.

How it runs, step by step
A typical first engagement for this channel — the shape is the same for a 500-pair trial and a programme order.
Show us the mainline
Send the garment and the packaging. The accessory brief is to sit convincingly beside them.
Agree the quality level
Yarn, gauge and finish chosen to match — we will say when matching perfectly costs disproportionately.
Develop the accessory
Pattern and prototype from your brand direction, with a specialist team rather than your own.
Match the brand system
Labels, hangtags, care symbology and pack formats specified to your existing templates.
Schedule to the season
Sampling and production planned backwards from your delivery date, with dated milestones.
Extend the range
Add styles, colourways and underwear once the first season has proven the approach.

What we will not do
Quote a price we cannot hold
If the target price you have set requires a yarn or a construction that will not deliver the quality your market expects, we will say so and propose the nearest achievable version — rather than quoting low and substituting later.
Pretend a warehouse is a factory
SOXMILL is a sourcing company, not a mill owner. We run the specification, the QC chain and the documentation, and we are upfront about that. What we do not do is imply we own machinery we do not.
Take an order we cannot make the date on
If your deadline is not achievable we would rather lose the order than accept it and fail it. Dates are quoted as ranges with buffer built in.
Sell your custom design to anyone else
Your artwork, patterns and specifications are used only to produce your order. We do not offer custom developments to other buyers.
Clothing Brands — common questions
Can you match the quality level of our mainline?
Yes — send the garment and we will propose yarn, gauge and finish that sit convincingly beside it. Where exact matching costs disproportionately we will tell you, and offer the nearest sensible alternative rather than quietly substituting a cheaper yarn.
Can you match our existing labels and hangtags?
Yes. Send your label templates, care symbology and hangtag designs and we produce to them. That is usually far quicker than designing new ones, and it keeps the accessory line consistent with the mainline.
How do we hit a seasonal delivery date?
We plan backwards from your delivery date and give you a dated milestone schedule — specification, sampling, packaging sign-off, production, inspection and dispatch. The schedule is where deadlines either hold or fail, so we agree it before the deposit.
Can you handle a small trial order?
Yes. From 500 pairs per design is designed for first orders and test runs. A typical first order is three to five designs at 500–1,000 pairs each, consolidated into one shipment. Once the style is proven, repeats move into the volume pricing tiers.
Which certifications apply to your production?
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ISO 9001:2015, BSCI, SMETA 4-Pillar. Materials include GOTS organic cotton · RWS merino wool · GRS recycled polyester · bamboo, modal, combed and mercerized cotton · wicking polyamide blends. Certificates are shared on request, and third-party audits by SGS, Intertek or Bureau Veritas are welcome before shipment.
Can you handle packaging, labels and barcodes?
Yes. Printed belly bands, hangtags, header cards, hook boxes, gift boxes and multi-language inserts, plus GS1 barcode and SKU management for retail and Amazon. Packaging is quoted as a separate line so you can see exactly what it costs.
Start Your Private Label — no obligation.
Send what you have. A reference sock, a quantity and a target market is enough for us to quote.
