The numbers first
Price ladder
| Quantity band | Indicative position |
|---|---|
| 500 – 1,000 pairs | Trial tier — designed for a first order, a market test or a seasonal experiment |
| 1,000 – 2,000 pairs | Test-and-reorder tier — enough to prove sell-through before committing |
| 2,000 – 10,000 pairs | Standard tier — where the price ladder starts to move properly |
| 10,000+ pairs | Volume tier — see the bulk page for programme pricing |
What moves the price
- Why 500 is the floor — below that the fixed cost of yarn lot setup and machine time is spread over too few pairs to price sensibly
- Design count, not order count — three designs at 500 pairs each is a perfectly normal first order
- Size mixing is free — the minimum applies to the design, not to each size
- Colourway count — each colourway in a knitted design is a separate yarn setup, so two colourways cost more than one
- Construction complexity — a plain rib is cheaper per pair than a six-colour jacquard at the same volume
How to get a sharper number
If your market test needs several designs, order 500 pairs of each rather than 1,500 pairs of one. You will learn more from three styles in real retail than from a deeper buy of a style you have not tested.
Why our minimums are actually workable
A low MOQ that is genuinely low
500 pairs per design for knitted styles. No hidden minimum spend, no requirement to bundle categories, no "minimum" that turns out to be 5,000.
Sample risk is refundable
The sample fee is refunded in full when the bulk order is placed, and revisions are free until you approve. The cost of testing is your time, not your budget.
We help you design the test
Tell us the market and the shelf you are aiming at. We will tell you which construction gives you the best chance at that price point — even when it is the cheaper one.
A visible route to volume pricing
Every trial order gives you the specification document. Lock it, and the next order can step straight up into the volume tiers.

Wholesale terms — common questions
What is your MOQ?
500 pairs per design & colourway for knitted styles and 1,000 pairs for sublimation-printed styles. Mixed sizes count towards the same design. Volume basics such as a combed cotton everyday crew sit at 3,000 pairs per colour because the price point needs a longer run.
Can you handle a small trial order?
Yes. From 500 pairs per design is designed for first orders and test runs. A typical first order is three to five designs at 500–1,000 pairs each, consolidated into one shipment. Once the style is proven, repeats move into the volume pricing tiers.
Can I mix several styles in one order?
Yes — the MOQ applies per design, not per order. Colourways, sizes and styles are consolidated into one consignment, and each design keeps its own colourway count.
Is there a minimum spend on top of the MOQ?
No. There is no separate minimum invoice value. A single design at 500 pairs is a valid order, quoted and produced like any other — the price per pair simply sits at the entry tier.
How fast are samples and what do they cost?
Pre-production samples ship 7–10 days after tech-pack approval, by express, with a spec sheet. The sample fee is quoted per style and refunded in full once the bulk order is placed. Revisions are free until you approve the sample.
What do you need from me to start?
Vector artwork (AI, PDF or EPS) works best, with Pantone codes for exact colour matching. Plus target quantity, delivery market and target price if you have one. A reference photo or a sketch is enough to open the conversation — roughly 70% of our buyers start without a tech pack.
Test the market before you commit.
Start with 500 pairs of one design. Sample fee refunded, revisions free, and a specification you can scale from.
